WHAT IS COACHING?

Coaching is a powerful partnership designed to move you forward in your life. It involves an advanced form of communicating and relating that focuses on helping you manifest your dreams.

A coach is a perpetually positive cheerleader, encourager, visionary, troubleshooter, efficiency expert, motivator and knowledgeable guide on your journey to creating the life you really want to live.

The coaching process transforms not only your writing life, but also your personal life. After all, when you’re happy about your work and eager to get going each day, the other parts of your life dramatically improve, too.


WHAT DO YOU DO AS A WRITER’S COACH?

I work closely with writers who are struggling to make good money by writing. They have a passion for writing and know they can write well, but are afraid they can’t earn enough money. Or they’ve tried to make more money and haven’t been successful…yet. Many of them are hooked on the myth of the “STARVING WRITER SYNDROME.”

Fortunately, there is a cure for this syndrome, and now I happily share that cure with other writers who are ready to stop starving and start prospering. In short, I help writers like you achieve profit and pleasure in your writing endeavors much sooner and with less strain than you could on your own.

I also work with professionals who want to promote their practices through writing, and with website owners who are having difficulty writing online content.

HOW DOES COACHING WORK?

All you need is a telephone and an e-mail address. During our first phone session, we will talk about your goals and dreams and what you want from coaching. This allows me to customize the coaching for you. After that initial session, we’ll have three one-hour coaching sessions a month. I will listen, clarify, encourage, give feedback, ask powerful and action-provoking questions, guide you in developing goals and structure, keep you focused, assist you in decision-making, boost your mental processes and help you stay on the course you have set for yourself.

As your coach, I am only a phone call or e-mail away. Between our regular phone sessions, you can e-mail me with any thoughts, questions, concerns or celebrations. You can also call me for brief check-ins, as needed (without the meter running), between your regular sessions. And at least once a month I have an “open phone” day when you can call for extra coaching, information or guidance.


HOW MUCH DOES COACHING COST?

I offer three coaching packages:

1. Standard Coaching Package
Includes three one-hour telephone sessions per month, unlimited e-mail correspondence and support, free e-zine and e-workshops, and “spot calls” as needed.

2. CyberCoaching Package
Includes unlimited e-mail correspondence and support, free e-zine and free e-workshops.
$200 per month. Contact Kathy for more information.

 

3. On-the-Spot Coaching Call
One phone call when you need laser-like coaching for a single issue. Includes two follow-up e-mails. Can be repeated for the same or a different issue.  $75 per half hour or $125 per hour. Contact Kathy to arrange in advance.

Coaching packages and fees are flexible. If you are serious about becoming a Prosperous Writer but have financial constraints, talk with me. We may be able to tailor a program to fit your situation.
